Hello, in 2012 I was very dumb and put 100 dollars into a bitcoin account. I used about 70 of it and left 30 and presumably it is still there. Unfortunately, I did not write my password down. I have the wallet id and an encrypted wallet backup. Is there any chance of gaining access to my account?

I don't use bitcoin, but is it possible to take my standard money, convert it to bitcoin on a bitcoin account and buy things online with bitcoin, then exchange unused bitcoin back into my regular currency?
Recently been told I can have two Bitcoin accounts on my Ledger Wallet.. Would like two Native Segwit accounts. Can anybody suggest how to do that? Thanks!
It’s only letting me install the BTC app once and when trying to open a second BTC account in the BTC app on the Ledger Live app for the Mac, it seems to be showing ‘Segwit’ for the 2nd account. I have heard though Native Segwit is better, faster and cheaper for transactions. So just wandering how to get 2 Native Segwit accounts. Or is this not possible? If it’s not possible. Is it perfectly fine to have one of each of the different types? Is there anything I need to know extra or is everything else the same, by having one account of each type? And FINALLY. Which one would be the best to use for BTC that isn’t really going to be touched. And which one is better for adding regular amounts of BTC into... Thanks guys!! Getting there!!

Xpub from Ledger Live does not create watching-only wallet of Ledger bitcoin account on phone.
I got the xpub for the bitcoin account on my Ledger Nano S and created a watching-only wallet on my phone. The Ledger has bitcoin in the account but the watching-only wallet doesn't have any bitcoin, transactions, and the addresses are all different (bc1... addresses on Ledger and 1... on phone). What happened?

Not sure if this is the place to post but I recently set my nephew up with a bitcoin account to accept donations on Twitch/Youtube, is there a way to get a balance without giving him the account information?
I want to basically set up something that he can either just check the balance without him signing on to electrum or whatever so he doesn't send coins or give out wallet information. He is only 10 but understands the basics of how crypto works. He only has 60 subscribers and I figure they are all his age and don't even know bitcoin exists but I was going to drop a few dollars worth into his wallet every couple of days to get him into crypto young. Any help would be appreciated. Edit: Thanks for the replies. Block explorer works great for what I needed. Thanks to everyone for the advice.
